Hornswoggle Bio

Hornswoggle, whose actual name is Dylan Postl initially made his debut in 2005 with the NWA Wisconsin as “Shortstack - the world’s sexiest midget”. He then joined Smackdown, where he went on to become the Champion of the inaugural X Division. 
 
In May 2006, he joined WWE and took the role of a leprechaun who resides beneath the ring and shows up on fights that involve Dave Finlay, an Irish wrestler. He was initially called ‘The little bastard’ by the Smackdown announcer Michael Cole, and most people liked that name although commentator JBL protested it. He wanted Michael Cole to apologize in public for using that name and stressed that the little wrestler should be called by the name ‘Hornswoggle’ and nothing else. 
 
Hornswoggle wins WWE Cruiserweight Championship: 
 
In 2007, Hornswoggle stunned everybody by beating many top wrestlers and ultimately defeating Jamie Noble to win the WWE Cruiserweight Championship at the ‘Great American Bash’ in San Jose, California. Actually he was not listed to participate in the contest, but he scampered across the ring when the bell rang before returning to his shelter under the ring. Nobody knew he was in the wrestling match till he pinned Jamie Noble. Also, Hornswoggle kept on humiliating Noble every week and this has resulted in a grudge between the two wrestlers.  
 
McMahon reveals that Hornswoggle is his son: 
 
In September 10, 2007, it was revealed that Hornswoggle was Vince McMahon’s illegitimate son. McMahon attempted to get Hornswoggle adopted but the later did not agree and chased away the so-called adopting parents. 
 
Finlay - the actual father of Hornswoggle: 
 
Later on, in February, a cage match was held between Vince McMahon and Hornswoggle, where the tiny wrestler was attacked by JBL, who then said that Hornswoggle is not the son of McMahon, but actually the son of Finlay (the then- superstar of SmackDown). The following week on Raw, Finlay agreed that Hornswoggle was certainly his son. After this surprising declaration, the father and son have gone on to benefit from incredible tag team success. Also, in June 25, 2008, Hornswoggle was drafted to the ECW roster.
